Start your journey from Ha Giang City with a local guide or experienced Easy Rider. Ride through the winding Bac Sum Pass, taking in your first breathtaking mountain views, then continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate for a panoramic stop and a drink at a mountaintop café. Visit the Twin Mountains viewpoint, a symbolic double-peak formation. After lunch in Quan Ba, head to Lung Tam, a traditional H’Mong weaving village where you can observe handcrafted brocade textiles. Continue riding through peaceful valleys such as Duong Thuong and Lung Ho, enjoying scenic rice terraces and stilt houses along the hillsides. Ride through the famous M-shaped curve and along the legendary Happiness Road, built by thousands of ethnic workers over six years. Later, take a boat trip on the Nho Que River to explore Tu San Canyon, the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia, offering breathtaking views. Continue to Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most stunning viewpoints in northern Vietnam, with photo stops at the Dinosaur Spine and Death Rock. End the day at a local homestay in Pa Vi village, Meo Vac, enjoy a home-cooked dinner, and relax in a peaceful mountain setting.

Begin the day with a relaxing breakfast, then continue riding through scenic mountain passes. Stop at Lung Cu Flag Tower — the northernmost point of Vietnam — where you can climb to the top of the tower and look out over the borderlands. Afterward, visit the ancient Vuong Family Palace (the H’Mong King’s residence). This historical site showcases a unique blend of H’Mong, French, and Chinese architectural influences, offering insight into the life of the H’Mong aristocracy. Arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon. In the evening, enjoy local street food at Dong Van Old Quarter, and join in traditional music and dancing with locals at the town square.

If your tour falls on a weekend, don’t miss the Dong Van Sunday market. This is one of the most vibrant ethnic markets in the region, where you can see minority groups buying and selling everything from vegetables and herbs to pigs and buffaloes. Ride back along the Loop, with more scenic stops on the way — including the famous Tham Ma Pass and Can Ty Slope.
