Quan Ba Heaven Gate
Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba is a famous scenic spot in Ha Giang, Vietnam, located at an altitude of about 1,500 meters above sea level. It serves as the gateway to the Dong Van Karst Plateau and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
From Heaven’s Gate, visitors can admire the stunning Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom), a unique natural formation associated with local legends. The fresh, cool air and the misty atmosphere add to the mystical charm of the area. This location is also a great stop for photography and sightseeing before continuing the journey deeper into the Ha Giang loop.

Dong Van
The Vuong Family Mansion, also known as the Hmong King’s Palace, is a historical and cultural landmark located in Sa Phin Valley, Dong Van District, Ha Giang. Built in the early 20th century, the mansion belonged to Vuong Chinh Duc, a powerful Hmong leader who was regarded as the "King of the Hmong" in the region.
The mansion showcases a unique blend of Chinese, French, and Hmong architectural styles, with intricate wooden carvings, stone walls, and green-tiled roofs. It was strategically built in a valley surrounded by mountains, symbolizing strength and prosperity. The complex consists of 64 rooms divided into different sections for the Vuong family, their guards, and servants.
Today, the Vuong Family Mansion stands as a historical site where visitors can explore the rich heritage of the Hmong people and learn about the fascinating history of Ha Giang.
