Vlad the Impaler was supposedly born in a yellow house, and the title his father carried, Dracul, is where Bram Stoker found the name Dracula. That house is one stop on this self-guided audio walking tour of Sighisoara, narrated through an app as you walk at your own pace.
Over two hours you will trace the guild towers raised by Saxon craftsmen, read a clock that changes a Roman god for each day, climb a covered staircase built so children could reach school through deep snow, and finish at the cemetery of the people who built every stone here and have now almost all left.
