You'll be warmly welcomed by me, Natasha, in one of Skopje's most charming wine venues — the Paint and Wine Center. You'll begin with a short introduction to Macedonia as one of the world's "old new wine countries" — a tradition spanning more than 4,000 years — followed by its wine regions and grape varieties. Before the first pour, I'll guide you through the systematic tasting method I use as an international wine judge — how to look, swirl, smell, and taste wine properly, along with insider tips you can apply in any restaurant or wine shop worldwide.
