Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
You will see the last volcanoes of the Guanacaste mountain range and the caribbean rain forest of costa rica, great chances to see: monkeys, sloths, toucans, bullet ants, snakes, oropendolas, etc. This is a walk meant for people who don’t main the rain and being in the absulete wilderness away from tourist traps or cities. This is a rural conservation project intended to protect this land for ever and eventually create jobs for the locals. In the place the walk it’s easy but the trails are not paved. You will experience the opportunity to be with a local expert in birds, conservation, botany and sustainability the changes this place has experienced for good in the last 10 years; showing now a super diverse mix of all kinds of edible, medicinal, spiritual and other useful plants in combination with regenerative development creating a great scenario for wildlife and to see the forest at its best. You will also see some of the biggest trees in the whole of Costa Rica as well.

Guanacaste National Park
On the way you will see the change from the dry forest into a rain forest as you drive by the Guanacaste National park and the majestic Orosí volcano. You will cross the little town of Santa Cecilia famous for the volcanoes and orange production. Once at location we will shuttle you from meeting point to walking point by 4x4 and start the educational walk covering topics like the ecology of the area, looking for wildlife and learning about the project in general. You will also see some of the biggest tress in the whole of Costa Rica covered by epiphytes, lichens and mushrooms. One of the great birding hotspots in the whole region of guanacaste.
