La cathédrale a été érigée à l'endroit où se trouvait la mosquée principale de la ville au nom d'Isabelle de Castille et c'est l'une des premières constructions de la Renaissance en Espagne.

Royal Chapel is built right next to the Cathedral and the Madraza -the old Koranic School...
