We will look for the seductive faces of the deepest and most spectacular karst gorge in Europe: that of Gorropu.
Located between the municipal areas of Urzulei and Orgosolo, it is about 1.5 km long, from the Cucutos peak (888 m), it sinks for about 500 m .; on the bottom it narrows until it reaches the minimum width of 4-5 m in some points. These hard forms make Gorropu a world pearl, an authentic masterpiece of nature and at the same time a precious treasure trove of biodiversity.
You will live a magical place, the cradle of endemisms and a planter of stories. The elderly, even today, in fact tell of a frightening creature that has inhabited that gorge since the most remote times: "Sa mama 'e Gorropu".
