Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid-i Jahānnumā, is a historic congregational mosque located in Delhi, India. It was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and construction began in 1650, with completion in 1656. The mosque is renowned for its impressive scale and architectural grandeur, reflecting the Indo-Islamic style of the Mughal era.

Humayun's tomb (Persian: Maqbara-i Humayun) is the tomb of Emperor Mirza Nasir al-Din Muhammad commonly known as Humayun situated in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum under her patronage in 1558, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, and is located in Nizamuddin East, Delhi, close to the Dina-panah Citadel, also known as Purana Qila (Old Fort), that Humayun found in 1538. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, and since then has undergone extensive restoration work, which is complete. Besides the main tomb enclosure of Humayun, several smaller monuments dot the pathway leading up to it, from the main entrance in the West, including one that even pre-dates the main tomb itself, by twenty years;

The temple's design, by Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, is based on the lotus flower, a symbol of purity in many cultures.

The Qutub Minar, located in Delhi, India, is a towering minaret with a rich history spanning several centuries. It was commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate, in 1199 CE, to commemorate his victory over Prithviraj Chauhan and the establishment of Muslim rule in India. Aibak only completed the first story, and his successor, Iltutmish, added three more stories. Further additions and repairs were made by later rulers like Firoz Shah Tughlaq and Sikandar Lodi.
