Glenfinnan Viaduct
Made famous from its scenes in the Harry Potter movies, The Glenfinnan Viaduct is surrounded by mountains on the stunning shores of Loch Shiel. From the visitors centre you will be able to take a short walk to the viewpoint in time for the awesome sight of the Jacobite Steam Train* (not to be confused with the Hogwarts' Express) crossing the viaduct. You can spend the remainder of your time taking in the breath-taking views down the glen across Loch Shiel which is the used in various Harry Potter scenes as well as the loch on which Hogwarts sits.
Restrooms and food available in the visitors centre.
*Please note that the Jacobite Steam Train is operated by separate company and although our tour is scheduled around seeing this we cannot guarantee train will run on the day of your tour. This service is seasonal and dates have yet to be confirmed for 2026.
