Starting at Ibilbide Begoña de, 11, Centro, 33201 Gijón, Asturias, Spain, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. Your walk through one of Asturias' most characterful cities begins now.
The first clue takes you to the Cuesta del Cholo, a steep cobbled street in Cimadevilla — the old fishing quarter — where the houses climb the hill in tightly packed rows above the harbour.
From there the app leads you to Las Letronas, the giant letters spelling out Gijón on the waterfront, a modern landmark that has become the city's most-photographed spot and a meeting point for locals.
