Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)
The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is Xi’an’s iconic UNESCO World Heritage landmark built in the Tang Dynasty for monk Xuanzang to preserve sacred Buddhist scriptures from the Silk Road. Visitors can wander the scenic grounds, admire ancient halls, stone tablets and Buddhist relics, learn about Xuanzang’s legendary pilgrimage, and capture photos of this grand ancient pagoda.
This ticket only includes entry to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda complex(Da Ci'en Temple) ; climbing the pagoda is not covered.
