Early Morning: Depart from Pokhara to Nayapul by private vehicle, which takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The trek officially starts from Nayapul.
Trek Start: Begin the trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. This portion of the trek involves a gentle walk through forested paths and alongside streams, with some sections of uphill walking, especially as you approach Ulleri. The trek to Tikhedhunga takes about 4-5 hours, while reaching Ulleri might add an additional 1-2 hours of trekking, depending on your pace.
Overnight: Stay overnight in a teahouse at Tikhedhunga or Ulleri, where you can rest and prepare for the next day's ascent.
