Ghent, 3 May 1540. Your city has just said no to Emperor Charles V, the most powerful man alive, born right here, and now his army is marching on its walls. In this self-guided walking game you play Pieter, a proud citizen racing to save Ghent's ancient rights. You will start on St Michael's Bridge, with the city's famous three-tower skyline in front of you, then move through the medieval heart: the guild houses of the Graslei, the Gravensteen castle, the Prinsenhof where the Emperor himself was born, the Vrijdagmarkt, the Belfry, the Town Hall and St Bavo's Cathedral, before the story delivers you to its final surprise near the Stroppendrager statue.
