On the road to Vashlovani National Park, we will pass old soviet military airfield, which could receive some of the worlds biggest planes of that time. It seems like time is stopped here. We will drive through the old hangars and runway.

Vashlovani National Park is Georgia's one of the prominent destinations which is located in Dedoplistskaro municipality and features a semi-arid landscapes and rich biodiversity. Vashlovani is a favorite spot for landscape and wildlife photographers, birdwatchers and just nature lovers. One of the best thing about the park is that it is never crowded even at the peaks of local touristic seasons. During the trip, we will see the most popular parts of the park such as - Echo viewpoint, Pantishara gorge and Samukhi valley. Except fascinating landscape, we will be accompanied by some colourful birds, will spot vultures at their favourite sitting points, Will do little hike and at the end will try to find gazelles - the only antelopes of Georgia. Note: From the starting point of the trip, to the park entrance there is approximately 1,5 hours driving. Even if the park is the main attraction of the tour, the road is also interesting - as it may offer some encounters with wildlife.
