Park and National Palace of Pena
The National Palace of Pena is like a sacred jewel that crowns the Serra de Sintra. The surrounding park, in tune with the fairytale character of the palace, awakens emotions of mystery and discovery. In its nooks and crannies, eyes are lost in charm.
The colorful tones of the palace, the highest exponent of Romanticism in Portugal and eternal work of King Fernando II, Artist-King, open doors to the imagination of all who arrive there, and the infinite shades of green that paint the surrounding park constitute a idyllic, often under the veil of the characteristic fog of the Sintra mountains. As if out of a fairy tale, this place makes all generations of people who pass by and who are dazzled by it dream.

Farol do cabo da Roca
Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of mainland Portugal and continental Europe. It is located in the parish of Colares, municipality of Sintra and district of Lisbon. Its geographic coordinates are N 38º46'51", W 9º30'2".
The site can be visited, not to the extreme but to an area at an altitude of 140 m. The cape forms the western end of the Serra de Sintra, plunging into the Atlantic Ocean.
Luís Vaz de Camões described it as the place “Where the land ends and the sea begins” (in Os Lusíadas, Canto III).

Cascais
Located by the sea and traditionally a fishing village, Cascais underwent significant development in the 19th century. XIV, when it was a port of call of great movement for ships heading to Lisbon.
However, it was from the 2nd half of the 20th century onwards. In the 19th century, when bathing in the sea began to be appreciated, Cascais underwent an impulse that transformed it into a very fashionable summer resort. The main driver of the transformation was the King of Portugal D. Luís I, who in 1870 converted the fortress of the citadel into the summer residence of the Portuguese monarchy. This example was followed by the nobility who built palaces and beautiful villas where they spent the hottest time of the year, completely transforming the old fishing village.
