ISLA DE MAIPO
A totally unique wine bicycle private tour very close to Santiago de Chile.
Three hours by bike through the town and vineyards of Isla de Maipo at the heart of Maipo Valley, plus a traditional cuisine lunch and a wine tasting.
Time goes by pretty fast while pedaling through beautiful tree-lined walks, contemplating the Maipo river or passing through the vineyards of its well-known wineries: de Martino, Santa Ema, Terramater...
We will stop from time to time to visit the wine shops and tell you the history of the Maipo Valley and Chilean vitiviniculture. It is a simple bicycle route, where there is hardly any slope so you can fully enjoy the ride without having to have an extraordinary physical condition. It is designed so that anyone who does not have a special limitation can have fun and spend a pleasant day around wine and nature.
In addition, you will enjoy the traditional cuisine of the area in a beautiful production villa next to the Maipo River, with pond, pool, avocado forest, gardens ... Under a large vine with good weather or by the fireplace in winter. As a final touch a tour and a premium wine tasting! You will learn about the wine production process and winemaking in one of the renowned vineyards of Maipo Valley, Undurraga winery, where you will also participate in a guided tasting of three premium wines.

Vina De Martino
After visiting isla de Maipo down town, we will pedal to the De Martino winery and visit its beautiful vineyard, Santa Ines. There, the guide will talk about its different types of vines and the ways in which they are grown and harvested. We will also visit De Martino wine shop

On our way pedalling through the town and vineyards of Isla de Maipo, we will stop in Santa Ema wine shop. We will have the opportunity to challenge ourselves tasting different aromas in the sensory room at the wine shop.

Once the bike tour finished, after enjoying the traditional cuisine of the area in a beautiful production villa next to the Maipo River we will visit one the historic wineries of Maipo Valley and do a tour and a tasting.
