Landmannalaugar
After 3-4 hours on road we will arrive to our first attraction Landmannalaugar is particularly famous for its colorful rhyolite mountains, which are formed by volcanic activity and are characterized by their vivid hues of red, orange, yellow, and green. The region is also home to numerous hot springs and geothermal pools, which are popular among tourists for bathing.
The area is a popular hiking destination, with a number of well-marked trails leading through the mountains and valleys. One of the most famous hikes is the Laugavegur Trail, a 55-kilometer route that starts in Landmannalaugar and ends in Þörsmork, another popular hiking area.

Haifoss
Háifoss is a waterfall located in the south of Iceland, near the volcano Hekla. It is one of the tallest waterfalls in Iceland, with a height of approximately 122 meters (400 feet). The name "Háifoss" means "high waterfall" in Icelandic.
The waterfall is situated in the Fossárdalur valley and is fed by the river Fossá, which flows from the glaciers in the highlands. The surrounding area is characterized by rugged cliffs and volcanic rock formations, which add to the dramatic beauty of the waterfall.

Sigoldufoss
Sigöldufoss is a waterfall located in the highlands of Iceland, in the south-central region of the country. It is part of the river Tungnaá, which flows from the glacier Hofsjökull and is one of the largest rivers in Iceland.
The waterfall is approximately 15 meters (50 feet) high and is situated in a remote and isolated area, surrounded by rugged and rocky terrain. The name "Sigöldufoss" means "Victory Gold Falls" in Icelandic, and it is said to refer to the golden color of the water as it cascades down the rocks.

Ljotipollur Lake
Ljótipollur is a volcanic crater lake located in the south of Iceland, near the popular hiking area Landmannalaugar. The name "Ljótipollur" means "ugly puddle" in Icelandic, although the lake itself is anything but ugly. In fact, it is known for its stunning beauty and striking color.
The lake is situated within the Veiðivötn volcanic fissure system, which is known for its unique geological features and volcanic activity. Ljótipollur is approximately 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) wide and 90 meters (295 feet) deep, with steep cliffs surrounding the crater.
The water in the lake is a deep blue-green color, which contrasts sharply with the red and orange hues of the surrounding volcanic rock formations. The area is also home to a variety of plant and animal species, including Arctic char, which can be caught in the lake.

Bláhylur
Bláhylur is a small, deep blue lake located in the highlands of Iceland, near the popular hiking area Landmannalaugar. The name "Bláhylur" means "blue lake" in Icelandic, and it is so named because of the vibrant blue color of the water.
The lake is situated within a volcanic crater and is fed by hot springs that flow into it, giving it a unique color and temperature. The water in the lake is warm and pleasant for swimming, although visitors should be aware that the temperature can fluctuate depending on the weather and volcanic activity in the area. After our visit to Bláhylur we return to our starting point 3-4 hrs on road.
