You will head out on a motorized boat toward the famous Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve. You'll snorkel in crystal-clear turquoise waters over a vibrant coral reef filled with tropical fish (angelfish, blue-spotted rays, and zebra fish). There is a very high chance (around 70-80%) of spotting and swimming near wild bottlenose dolphins along the way.

Next, you will visit the famous natural tidal pool in Nungwi. Here, you can swim alongside rescued Green Sea Turtles, feed them sea lettuce (seaweed), and learn about the sanctuary's conservation efforts before they release the turtles back into the wild. It’s an incredible, up-close photo opportunity.

End your day at Kendwa Beach, famous for having one of the only beaches on the island unaffected by low tide (the water stays deep and swimmable all day). Relax on the powdery white sand, swim in the calm waves, and watch a world-class African sunset drop over the Indian Ocean. Many tours offer a sunset dhow boat cruise or drinks at a beach bar during this time.
