Your journey begins early in the morning as you board the Peru Rail Train in Vistadome service. As the train winds its way through the Sacred Valley, you’ll be surrounded by towering mountains, lush valleys, and rivers that carve their way through the landscape. The Vistadome service enhances your travel experience with large, panoramic windows and glass ceilings. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, a short bus ride will take you up to the ancient citadel itself. Here, you will have a guided tour of Machu Picchu, where you will explore its iconic terraces, temples, and plazas. Later, you’ll return to Aguas Calientes for a relaxing lunch before boarding the Vistadome train for your return journey.
