Depart from Durban at 6am and head north on a 3 hour journey to Hluhluwe Imfolozi game reserve. We embark on a game drive in Hluhluwe. A game drive in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve is a special and iconic safari experience, offering the chance to explore Africa’s oldest game reserve, renowned for its successful rhino conservation efforts. As you traverse the reserve’s rolling hills and vast savannahs, you’ll encounter the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with a variety of other wildlife in their natural habitat. Guided by expert rangers, the drive provides rich insights into the animals and the unique ecosystems of the park, making it a truly memorable and immersive safari adventure.
After the game drive we take a lunch break - own expense. Thereafter we start our journey back to Durban.
