This tour only accepts travelers from the pickup areas listed in the Transportation section. Joining the group directly in Bacalar, at any attraction included in the itinerary, or from any point outside the authorized service zones is not permitted. For example, meeting the group in Bacalar with your own vehicle is not allowed. However, pickup from a hotel located within the listed coverage area, such as Moon Palace Resort, may be possible. For safety, communication, and proper organization, all travelers must meet our team in the morning at the assigned pickup location, board our transportation, and complete check in before the tour begins.

If your reservation does not yet have a confirmed hotel or meeting point, you must send this information to our team no later than the day before the tour. From Monday to Saturday, the cutoff time is 21:50 hrs, GMT minus 5. On Sundays, the cutoff time is 8:00 PM, GMT minus 5. You may provide the details through any of our available contact channels. After this time, last minute pickup arrangements can no longer be made. If the required information is not received on time, the reservation will automatically be moved to the next available date. This change has no cost or penalty, but once the automatic rescheduling applies, the booking is no longer eligible for a refund.

The itinerary times show the full estimated duration of each segment. This may include travel between locations, time spent at the stop, and the time needed to continue the route or return. These durations should not be interpreted as the exact amount of time spent only inside each attraction. Please review the itinerary for the approximate timing details.

The day begins with pickup from Cancun and the Riviera Maya in a bus or minibus. During the pickup route, guests will receive a box lunch before continuing toward Bacalar.
This first stretch marks the transition from the busier areas of the Mexican Caribbean to the quieter landscapes of southern Quintana Roo, where freshwater, lagoon views, and a more peaceful atmosphere shape the rest of the experience.

Once in Bacalar, travelers will start the visit with breakfast in town. The meal may include local-style options such as Mexican eggs, chicken chilaquiles, eggs with chaya, hotcakes, a fresh fruit bowl, or other available dishes.
This stop gives the group time to eat, recharge, and ease into the slower rhythm of Bacalar before beginning the water and sightseeing portions of the day.

The route continues to Cenote Azul, one of Bacalar’s most recognized freshwater locations. Known for its deep blue tones and refreshing water, this natural site offers travelers time to swim, relax, and enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by calm scenery.
This visit introduces the natural side of Bacalar and provides a refreshing pause before moving on to the lagoon area.

Balneario Ejidal Mágico Bacalar
Travelers will then visit Balneario Mármol, a scenic freshwater area connected to the beauty of Bacalar’s lagoon. Here, guests can enjoy the clear water, admire the different shades of blue, take photos, and spend time in a relaxed environment.

Lago Bacalar (Lac des Sept Couleurs)
One of the main highlights of the experience is a pontoon ride across Bacalar Lagoon, also known as the Lake of the Seven Colors. As the boat moves through the lagoon, travelers can enjoy wide freshwater views, soft blue tones, and the calm atmosphere that makes Bacalar such a special destination.

At the end of the experience, guests will board the bus or minibus for the return to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. After a full day of breakfast, cenote swimming, lagoon views, a pontoon ride, historical scenery, and Bacalar’s relaxed charm, the tour concludes with drop-off at the corresponding hotel or meeting point.
