The Corralejo Natural Park is a protected area (UNESCO) on the island of Fuerteventura. It has more than 2600 hectares. It was classified by Enesco as a natural park in 1996. Puerto del Rosario is the capital of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. We drive through the center so that you have a good impression. This city was founded around 1800 as a port for the export of soda and grain. Before 1957, the town was named Puerto de Cabras (Spanish for "goat port"), because of the nearby watering hole. Today the port serves passengers and goods. There is also a large barracks of the Spanish Legion here.
