Togendai Station General Information Center
It takes about 20 minutes to get from Hakone Shrine to Togendai Station. Togendai Station is a transportation hub near Lake Ashi. You can take the Hakone Ropeway from Togendai Station, passing Ubako Station and heading to Owakudani Station. It takes about 20 minutes and this cable car journey allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the volcano and Lake Ashi.

Owaku-dani Valley
Owakudani is a landmark attraction in Hakone, famous for its volcanic landforms and hot spring fumaroles. It was formed by a volcanic eruption about 3,000 years ago, and the smoking sulfur zone can be seen everywhere, which is a spectacular sight. The specialty food "Black Egg" is named after the black eggshell. You can take the aerial cable car to overlook the panoramic view, and on a clear day, you can also see Mount Fuji in the distance. It is a must-visit place for nature and geology enthusiasts.
