San Niccolo
We will pass through the San Niccolò Quarter one of the most artistically interesting areas of the city. Home of lovely artisan shops of gold-smiths, contemporary artists, high-end niche Perfumeries and much more.

Piazzale Michelangelo
We will climb from San Niccolò to Piazzale Michelangelo through the so called "Rampe", a beautiful boulevard with breathtaking views of the city. We will pass by the San Niccolò Tower and, when possible, through the Rose Garden and/or the Iris Garden.

Basilica San Miniato al Monte
From Piazzale Michelangelo we will pass through the iconic Basilica di San Salvatore al Monte who Michelangelo defined "La bella villanella" ("The beautiful peasant woman" in English), to reach the San Miniato church through the "Parco della Rimembranza", surrounding the Basilica.

We will walk through the Arcetri area: home of Galileo Galilei (we will pass by), and of some of the most beautiful mansions in the city. We will walk through Via di San Leonardo, one of most beautiful small streets of Florence, home to the Russian composer Tchaikovsky. We will pass by the church and reach the Belvedere fortress.

We will pass through one of the standing ancient fortification doors part of the defensive mechanism of the city throughout the centuries.
