This hike leads us to the summit of the highest mountain of the Gutenstein Alps, the Reisalpe (1.399 m). From our starting point at the plateau, it is only 1,5-2 hours to reach the summit. On top of the mountain, we enjoy a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view. After a well-deserved break at the lodge, we will make our way back to the starting point. This is a pleasant 3-hour hike to the summit of Reisalpe (1.400 m/4.600 ft), the highest mountain of the Gutenstein Alps. It is especially recommended in spring and autumn. In the beginning, the trail runs evenly along a forest road, after a while it gets pretty steep, which makes reaching the peak even more rewarding. It is a lovely and diversified tour with real countryside feeling in the Austrian Pre-Alps. Depending on the season, rare alpine wild flowers can be discovered along the trail.
