Fatima
Fátima will be our first stop to visit the Sanctuary and attend mass. Next we will visit either the Monastery of Batalha or the Monastery of Alcobaça, both of them considered jewels of Portuguese history and architecture.
Then we will continue our trip to the fishing village of Nazaré where we will pause for lunch by the seaside. Here you will be able to enjoy one of the greatest treasures of our cuisine: our seafood! This fantastic day will end in the enchanting medieval village of Óbidos, a place where time stands still.

Batalha Monastery
Santa Maria da Vitória Monastery, better known as Batalha Monastery [1], is a Dominican monastery located in the village of Batalha, in the Centro region, Beira Litoral province, in Portugal, which was built in 1386 by King D. John I of Portugal [2] as thanks to the Virgin Mary for the victory against the Castilian rivals in the battle of Aljubarrota

Obidos Village
Close enough to the capital and situated high above the Atlantic coast, Óbidos had a strategic importance in the territory. Already occupied before the Romans reached the Iberian Peninsula, the village became more prosperous from the moment it was chosen by the royal family. Since King D. Dinis offered it to his wife D. Isabel in the 19th century. XIII, it belonged to the House of the Queens that, throughout the various dynasties, were benefiting and enriching it. It is one of the main reasons for finding so many churches in this small town.

Nazare
Nazaré is a village located in the municipality of the same name, which is formed by Nazaré, Valado dos Frades and Famalicão. But it is Nazareth that has the most fame and tourist attraction, thanks to its legends, typical Nazarene robes and of course, for having the biggest wave ever surfed in the world by Garrett McNamara.

Alcobaca
One of the first Cistercian monastic foundations in Portuguese territory, the Alcobaça Monastery became the main house of this religious Order, thanks to a continued royal protection policy, initiated by the first king of Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques. The still-preserved medieval outbuildings make the Alcobaça Monastery a unique collection in the world, to which the later buildings from the 16th to the 18th centuries add as an important testimony to the evolution of Portuguese architecture.
