Experience the lesser known monuments and history of this continuously inhabited region of Delhi . The area is renowned to attractions like the Tomb of Balban, established in 1287 CE, when India's first real arch and true dome were created. Other fascinating monuments include the Jamali and Kamali Mosque which is believed to be the abode for the Djinns , one of the haunted sites of India and an early 17th century Quli khan’s tomb which was refurbished by a British resident in Delhi into his summer retreat palace.
