Your adventure begins in the beautiful Piazza dei Priori, where you will wander through Narni's charming medieval streets, passing some of its most iconic landmarks, including the Church of Santa Maria Impensole, Piazza Galeotto Marzio, the historic House of Erasmo Gattamelata, and the ancient city gates of Porta della Fiera and Porta Polella.

Leaving the town behind, the trail leads to one of the most remarkable symbols of Roman Narni: the impressive remains of the Augustus Bridge (Ponte di Augusto), an extraordinary example of Roman engineering overlooking the Nera River valley.

After crossing the river, you will follow the scenic Nera Gorges cycling and walking path, created along a former railway line and surrounded by lush natural scenery.

Walking through dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and rich vegetation, you will reach the picturesque village of Stifone, famous for its stunning emerald-green springs, one of the most photographed locations in Umbria. Free time.

After a relaxing break, the route crosses the river once again before climbing along the panoramic Porta Pietra Trail, offering magnificent views over the valley and leading back through Narni's medieval walls into the historic center.
