Palacio de Dom Manuel
Meeting Point. The Dom Manuel Palace of Évora was one of the centres of the Portuguese Renaissance under King Manuel I. Playwrights such as Gil Vicente and explorers such as Vasco da Gama sought audiences with the king there. It is one of the best starting points for exploring this city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. The guide will make the historical framework of the city of Évora in the history of Portugal and in the Universal history.
