Mount Etna
Transfer from your meeting point in Catania or Taormina. During the drive, we will pass through typical Etna villages while your guide shares stories and insights about the landscapes and local traditions.
Our first stop will be the visit of a lava cave, equipped with helmets and torches. Afterwards, enjoy an easy walk through ancient craters and old lava flows surrounded by breathtaking volcanic scenery.
There will be a stop for lunch (not included) before continuing towards the impressive Alcantara Gorges.

Le Gole dell'Alcantara
After the lunch break, transfer to the Alcantara Valley (about 45 minutes). Following a short introduction to the site, you will enjoy free time walking through the stunning lava canyon sculpted over centuries by the river waters.
Access to the gorges is via a staircase of approximately 220 steps. After the visit, transfer back to the original meeting point.
We recommend bringing water shoes or suitable footwear for walking in the river, as well as a swimsuit or a change of clothes.
