Essaouira
This day trip to Essaouira will be an opportunity for you to enjoy this port city on the Atlantic coast. With its all-white medina classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Essaouira attracts artists from around the world. It is also considered as the city of the traditional music of "Gnawa". Musical current originating from black Africa.
The visit of the medina and its ramparts will remind you of the historical traces of the Romans. The 200 meter long Scala is a rampart lined with guns facing the Atlantic Ocean, showing the Portuguese influence of the past.
The port was the only one for years to open to foreign trade where we can now enjoy a lunch based on fish and seafood depending on the arrival.
You will also have the pleasure to visit the famous marquetry of Essaouira (work of wooden decoration specialty of the city).
