Arqueologica de Moral-Reforma
It receives the name by he abundance of moral trees and by the location in the Reforma area, a small village site of great importance controlling trade between Petén and the Gulf Coast, along the San Pedro River, along 1,700 years old.
Splendid pyramids in pairs attest to this, as well as filigree inscriptions which established their alliance with Calakmul and Palenque, we can climb each of the mounds where we will have spectacular views.

Pomoná Zona Arqueológica
Start this visit with a short walk that will connect you with nature, the sound of howling monkeys, birds and also the tranquility that the site offers, there the ancients Mayans obtained material to build their buildings and monuments; Pomoná takes its name from the tributary stream of the lower Usumacinta.
Rich stelae, sculptures, panels and hieroglyphic inscriptions allow us to know the history of its rulers and the relationships it maintained with other cities in the region, dependent on Panjalé, Boca del Cerro and Chinikihá, in addition to warlike relations for territorial control with Palenque, Piedras Negras and La Mar.
Visit the museum where you can admire the called tombstone of The Scribe, the stele with a high dignitary, a figurehead of the Sun-Jaguar God of The Underworld, the eccentric flint knives, the bust of a Mayan character, the carved tombstones of Building 4 and the figure of an old man with a beard and hat.
