Easy route through Aigüestortes Cascades and Estany de Llebreta

Enjoy a route through the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, with convenient taxi access until the start of the tour. Accompanied by a local guide, you will discover the spectacular high mountain landscapes while learning about the history, geology, flora and fauna of this unique natural area.
The itinerary follows the course of the Sant Nicolau River, passing through the impressive waterfalls of the Sant Esperit and ending next to the charming Estany de Llebreta, one of the most emblematic corners of the park.
Aiguestortes I Estany of Saint Maurici National Park
After the presentations and the review of material we will drive in 4x4 to the entrance of the national park.
We will start the route at the shelter of Josep Maria Blanc. From there we will spend the day walking gently around some of the most important glacial lakes in the park.
The route includes the ascent to Monestero Peak (2,877mt. /9,439 ft). But it won't be mandatory.
During the route we will have a picnic surrounded by amazing views.
Back we will stop at the shelter of Josep Maria Blanc to visit and refresh ourselves. There we will wait for the taxi back
Classic 60 seater mountain retreat located at 2,350m high. It is located in a privileged place, surrounded by the Estany Tort of Peguera and the peaks of Peguera, Monestero and Saburó.
From here we carry out the first day of road
