The grand entrance to King’s Landing’s walls—Dubrovnik’s Old Town begins here, guarded by ancient stone fortifications that have seen centuries of intrigue.

Pass under Pile Gate’s drawbridge to reach King’s Landing’s docks. Visit the beach where the royal entourage saw off Princess Myrcella to Dorne, where Tyrion and Varys met on the walls, and where the Gold Cloaks carried out secret orders.

On the way to the Red Keep, stop at a pier on Dubrovnik’s western bay—used for Blackwater Bay and wildfire scenes, and where Sansa and Shae spoke before Littlefinger’s arrival.

Fort Lovrijenac, Dubrovnik’s fortress, stands in for King’s Landing’s Red Keep, overlooking Blackwater Bay. Its halls and courtyards were used for the Iron Throne, the Purple Wedding, and royal tournaments. Kindly note that admission is not included (free with Dubrovnik Pass or City Wall Ticket )

Descending back to Old Town, walk through King’s Landing streets where rebellion erupted after Joffrey’s orders. See locations from the Purple Wedding aftermath, Sansa’s escape, Jaime’s return, Littlefinger’s brothel, and Tyrion’s meeting with Oberyn Martell.
