Castello dei Doria
You'll meet the guide in front of the Sanremo Casino. We'll drive along the amazing coastline and you'll enjoy the breathtaking landscape overlooking the crystalline blue sea, surrounded by sweet, green slopes dottet with Mediterranean maquis, flowers, and lemon trees. Then we continue our excursion driving along the ancient Roman street, and we reach the Nervia Valley. We stop in Dolceacqua and our licensed tourist guide will led you to discover this delightful medieval village, home of the most prized and famous red wines in Italy, Rossese di Dolceacqua. We will visit the Castello dei Doria and we will walk on the famous bridge painted by Claude Monet. He described it a "jewel of lightness".
At the end of the tour we'll taste 2 local wines (Rossese di Dolceacqua - a local ruby red wine- and a local white wine), pairing them with focaccia and a small local cake called "michette".
This is the best way to enjoy the Italian Riviera: art, history, Nature, and good wines!
