Your trip begins at Azul Diving Madeira, after check-in and a quick equipment setup, you'll receive a detailed dive briefing from our experienced dive guides, covering safety, wreck layout, marine life, and conditions.
Then we’ll head out by boat (just a short ride) to the Afonso Cerqueira wreck site, sitting at approximately 12 to 30 meters depth, making it suitable for Open Water and Advanced divers alike.
The wreck, an old Portuguese Navy corvette intentionally sunk in 2018, now rests peacefully on the ocean floor and is home to a wide variety of marine life — including groupers, moray eels, octopus, and schools of barracuda.
