PICKUP LOCATION: ◘ Small-group tour: Angel de la Independencia roundabout close to City Express Reforma Hotel. ◘ Private tour: Your accommodation or any other preferred place in Mexico City (please specify it during or after the booking).

MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: ◘ Small-group tour: We need 2+ participants to confirm the group tour (otherwise, it might be canceled with a full refund 2 days before the tour). ◘ Private tour: 1+ (the tour is 100% confirmed for any group size).

WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU: personal ID (or a copy: digital or in paper); personal travel insurance; comfortable clothes and shoes; hat/cap, sunscreen, and sunglasses (the sun is pretty strong anywhere in Mexico); cash (if you’d like to buy something as not all merchants accept bank cards in Mexico)

Rancho San Isidro
One of the most representative pulque producers in the region. There, meet a member of a pulque cooperative who will tell us about the history and production technique of this ancient beverage. Except for this, walk around agave fields, try various types of pulque and its products, and taste some of the local food specialties directly from the farm.

Cholula
Afterward, move to our next stop: Cholula. Considered a “Magical Town“, this place is best known for its Great Pyramid with the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios sanctuary on top. Once there, enjoy a walking tour of the historic center, and then visit a Talavera pottery factory. Learn about the history of Talavera pottery, discover the traditional methods used to create this iconic craft, and even have the chance to create your own piece of Talavera to take home as a unique souvenir.

Puebla
go to the state’s capital city: Puebla. There, visit a monastery that is the birthplace of the most famous regional dish: mole poblano. Hereafter, have a comprehensive walking tour of Puebla seeing its lovely colonial buildings, colorful lanes, and beautiful churches. On our way, discover Puebla’s cuisine trying some of its most typical food in local markets and restaurants.
