About the Curator

Nada Badran

I’m Nada Badran, Palestinian by origin, and longtime resident of Dubai. Been in the UAE for over 30 years! I am a former strategy professional turned storyteller. In 2016, after completing my MBA at IE Business School in Spain, I returned home to Dubai and soon after founded a tour business called Wander With Nada. I did it with the sole mission to offer the antidote to on-the-grid travel: unique, candid, unscripted moments that happen when you truly wander in the UAE’s less glamorous corners. My guests are the culturally curious who want to get under the skin of their destination and seek something different than the usual prescribed tour. That being said, I host tours around Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. My tours do cover the much talked about attractions including the Dubai Creek, Burj Khalifa, and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, as well as the lesser seen corners. I often work with guests to customize itineraries that tailor to their interests whether it’s food, architecture, culture, art, photography, and more. My insatiable wanderlust goes beyond the UAE’s borders. I am also a frequent traveler and former host of Tajawal Ma’a Nada, a travel show on CNN Arabic where I took viewers through tales of my global adventures and shared my two fils on travel.
