Day 1. Welcome to the economical capital of Burundi. Your midsize range hotel included (once confirmed based on availability). You will be picked up from the hotel at 9:00am. If you arrive to Bujumbura airport you will be picked up from the airport and transfer to your hotel and we will start the tour the next day to allow you time to relax and enjoy and prepare yourself for adventure. In the morning we visit Rusizi national park where a possible boat tour (or walking along the river) in Rusizi river can let you explore closer the hippos, numerous birds and the joining point between Rusizi River and Lake Tanganyika. Later we will explore Bujumbura city by car and foot. Next is Belvedere Climb that offers a beautiful view of Bujumbura City. We will proceed to Independence hero monument. After that, we visit the Snake and Culture Museum. The next stop is a huge rock in the suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating the meeting between explorers Stanley and Livingstone.
