Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib
Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib commemorates the 1675 martyrdom of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was beheaded on the orders of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Chandni Chowk for refusing to convert to Islam. The gurudwara was built by Sikh leader Baghel Singh in 1783 at the exact site of his execution, which he chose to defend the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits. The name "Sis Ganj" translates to "the place where the head was severed".

India Gate
India Gate is a war memorial in New Delhi, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, that commemorates Indian soldiers who died in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. The 42-meter-high structure is built from red and yellow sandstone and has the names of thousands of soldiers inscribed on its walls. After India's independence, the Amar Jawan Jyoti, or eternal flame, was added to honor soldiers who died in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, and the area surrounding the gate serves as a popular picnic spot and venue for national events like the Republic Day parade.
