About
We will begin early in the morning with the pickup at your hotel in Cusco. The vehicle will take us by Izcuchaca and Limatambo towns to enter to the Salkantay Route and get to the point where we will begin the trek. We will walk 1 km (0.6 miles) until arriving to the Soraypampa campsite, at 12,795 feet of altitude, where we will have breakfast. After that, we will begin the ascending trek for 1 and a half hours until reaching the Humantay Lagoon, located at 13,451 feet of altitude. Here we will be able to see the color variation, depending on the perspective that gives us the point where we will be located, besides the glacier as background that goes to the lagoon, if the weather allows it. ...
