Additionally, you can buy the Boleto Turistico, which covers the remaining archaeological sites, at the first ruin we visit. It`s important to note that ticket purchases on the day must be made in cash using Peruvian soles, the local currency. We are unable to accept US dollars or any other forms of payment for these on-the-spot purchases.

Qorikancha
We’ll pick you up from the hotel, and start the tour visiting the Temple of Coricancha, also known as Golden Temple. This symbolic place has a clear example of the fusion between Incan and Hispanic cultures, and during the Spanish conquer, the base of the temple was used to build the Church of Santo Domingo and its famous convent.

Then, we’re going to visit the Cathedral of Cusco located in the Main Square, declared as a World Cultural Heritage, as well as a Historic Monument of Peru. Here, you will appreciate a beautiful religious paintings of the Art School of Cusco.

Plaza de Armas
The beauty of the main square will surprise you. Surrounded by commerce and impressive churches, this place was previously a lagoon, and it was dried up during the Inca time, and used for important celebrations. Now, it is the main tourist meeting point of Cusco.

Sacsayhuaman
The tour continues to the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, an amazing place with huge carved stones which fit each other in a perfect way, and it is said that it was built by more than 20 thousand men, and took over 70 years to finish it. Located 2 Km. away from the city of Cusco, this Incan Fortress has amazing landscapes, and it houses llamas and hawks.

Puka Pukara
We will continue this entertaining excursion in the military compound of Puca Pucara, which means “Red Fortress” for its reddish infrastructure.

Q'enqo
Later, we will visit the religious temple of Qenqo, place where the Incas worshiped their Gods like the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. You will have an incredible experience exploring through its underground passageways, and admire a semicircular amphitheater.

Tambomachay
Then we will go the water’s worship center of Tambomachay, with aqueducts and waterfalls provided from nearby springs. Definitely, the Inca civilization had an advanced and surprising construction engineering.
At the end, we will drop you off at Plaza El Regocijo, one block from Plaza de Armas.
