See the breathtaking view of this magnificent caldera, from the top of the tallest volcano mountain of the island.

Centro de Interpretacao Ambiental Caldeira Velha
Visit and walk amongst the hot springs tucked in the lust forest (ticket not included, you can purchase at the entrance 3€ - no bathing just visiting)

Pass by the lovely old downtown of the largest city of the north of the island.

See the famous surfers’ beach and other northern viewpoints.

Visit the distillery where local liquors are made which Includes a tasting of liquors (please note this visit/tasting will not be possible on Sundays; if your tour is on a Sunday we will go exploring Vila Franca instead and the very original Nossa Senhora da Paz shrine up hill).

Visit the distillery where local liquors are made which Visit and explore the ceramic factory, and learn about the tiles and ceramic work that are part of the island heritage (closed on Sundays; if your tour is on a Sunday we will go exploring Vila Franca instead and the very original Nossa Senhora da Paz shrine up hill).
