Golkonda Fort is an impregnable Hill Fort of the 12th Century Hindu Kingdom strengthened and re-built in the 16th Century by the founders of Qutb Shahi Kingdom. They made Golkonda Fort as their capital and ruled during 16th and 17th Centuries. It was the most renowned diamond trading center in the world during the medieval period. We get to see the fortifications, bastions, Old mosques, ruined barracks, Deccan rock formations, ruined palaces, ancient temples, Durbar Halls, open-air theatres, etc. We climb up more than 300 steps to reach the top of the fort to have a bird's eye view of the surroundings. Tourists will travel to the past to immerse themselves in the glorious history of medieval deccan.

Qutb Shahi Tombs
This is a royal necropolis of the Qutb Shahi Rulers Family built in Indo-Sarascenic style of Architecture in the 16th and 17th Centuries. Here we are going to see the Tombs of the Kings, their family members, courtesans, royal physicians, funerary mosques, step wells, arches, domes, and minarets built in beautiful Islamic architecture of the medieval period built by the Sultans of Qutb Shahi Kingdom of Golkonda. Qutb Shahi's are one among five Deccan Sultanates who influenced Socio-Cultural scenario of this region in the Deccan. After this visit it takes another 30 to 40 minutes to reach your hotel.
