Stop to taste the "liquid gold". Olive oil is one of the most essential ingredients of the Greek cuisine. We will witness how it is made at the traditional olive oil craft- industry.

Next stop, a unique local winery that invests in passion and quality. We will go down to the cool cellar to see where the barrels rest and then we move on to the most enjoyable part: the winetasting! We will taste 5 wines from rare local varieties, such as Vidiano and Romeiko.

For the grand finale, we have the best for you: we will drive up to the beautiful and peaceful Lake Kournas. Next to this magical landscape, we will sit at a traditional tavern that is run with passion by the third generation of the same family. Here, grandmother's recipes are followed without anyone allowed to change them. The table will be filled with authentic fried lamb or antkristo, snails (for the more daring!) and fresh salads with sour cheese. And because a Cretan table is not complete without raki, we will clink our glasses with ice-cold raki

When we are finished, we will return you to the port completely full and smiling. And the most important thing? You will be there 1 to 1.30 hours before the ship's departure, because all we want you to lose is the calories, not the cruise ship!
