During this hands-on cooking class, you’ll visit the family garden, pick fresh seasonal vegetables, and prepare classic Cretan dishes. At the end, enjoy a communal meal featuring homemade wine, local raki (tsikoudia), and traditional desserts.

Experience life with an authentic Cretan family in an intimate cooking class (2–10 guests). Your hosts—Filippa, Kostas, and Richard—welcome you to our Chania estate to share our lifestyle, home garden, and kitchen secrets.
Enjoy a local juice welcome, prep our slow-cooked main dish (lamb, chicken, or boureki), and place it in the oven. Next, walk through our garden to learn about our crops, smell local herbs, and harvest fresh produce for a village salad.
In the kitchen, pause for a break with local appetizers (olives, cheeses, rusks) and raki. Then prep the remaining recipes: knead dough for kalitsounia, make tzatziki, and fry potatoes over an open fire.
