Participants immerse themselves in authentic Mexican culinary traditions through a hands-on cooking class. The experience begins with a guided tour of the local market, "El Mercado," where attendees learn to select fresh, traditional ingredients. In Josefina's kitchen, students receive instruction on Mexican cooking tools like molcajetes (mortar and pestle), lime presses, tortilla presses, and the comal (a flat griddle). The class covers the preparation of handmade tortillas, traditional sauces, guacamole, side dishes, and more.
