Corinth Canal, one of the most important projects and 19th century engineering masterpieces, playing a catalytic role for the Mediterranean trade. The Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.

Ancient Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, one of the most famous and visited cities of Greece. The city is located in the South West of the Peloponnese surrounded by mountains that take their name from the ancient town. The most renowned monuments are: Temple of Apollo, Bema of Saint Paul and Roman Odeon.

The Archaeological Museum of Corinth houses a large collection of artifacts from the local site and from smaller sites in the neighboring area.

Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth, is a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient city of Corinth. It is the most impressive of the acropolis of mainland Greece.

Next stop is Mycenae, where you can walk in the ruins of its citadel and feel the vibrations of the past times climbing up on top of its hill. You will visit the archaeological site, entering through the Lions Gate, see the royal palace and admire the splendid view.

The Treasury of Atreus or Tomb of Agamemnon is a large tholos or beehive tomb on Panagitsa Hill at Mycenae, constructed during the Bronze Age around 1250 BC.

Free time to stroll amongst the town's shops where you can buy handmade souvenirs for your family/friends and also free time for lunch.

Palamidi is a fortress in the town of Nafplio in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Nestled on the crest of a 216-metre high hill, the fortress was built by the Venetians during their second occupation of the area (1686–1715).
