Itinerary
1
Duke of Wellington
My preferred start point, is opposite the Balmoral Hotel, with its big clock tower, betwixt the Apple store & the statue of the Duke of Wellington on his beloved horse Copenhagen
10 minutes
2
Edinburgh Old Town
An 8-hour tour of locations connected to JK Rowling & the writing of her beloved Harry Potter. Harry's saga is more than a million words & has sold more than ½ billion books. You don't need an 8-hour 'Harry Potter tour', but Harry deserves it.
6 hours and 25 minutes
3
The Elephant House
Late lunch! If it's open. Around £15 per person will be required. If it's closed we'll go elsewhere.
This is optional, the tour can be done without lunch, you could bring a packed lunch or buy sandwiches en-route to eat on the go. But this would omit the seated lunch activities.
40 minutes
4
Greyfriars
Part of Edinburgh's world heritage site and Edinburgh's most visited cemetery, I wonder why?
