Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of some 60 meters and a width of 25 meters. You can walk right up to it but be prepared to be drenched. It is overwhelming standing next to it.

The Great Geysir, located in the Haukadalur geothermal area, is one of Iceland’s most famous natural wonders.
Just a short distance from Geysir, you’ll find Strokkur, a very active geyser that erupts every 5–10 minutes, shooting boiling water up to 20–30 meters (65–98 feet) into the air. This makes Haukadalur one of the best places in the world to witness the incredible power of geothermal energy.
